At the beginning of the 1960s grandfather Marco set up the first Taranto cheese makers, realising a dream long cherished from his years of working experience at Gioia del Colle, the home of mozzarella..
From then on and later together with Vito and young Marco, for three generations the Benedetto family has continued to produce cheeses, with undiminished passion and enthusiasm, respecting that artisan philosophy which is at the root of VB's business.

The quality of our products comes from a painstaking selection of the raw materials.
We use cow's, sheep's and goat's milk from mountain pastures.
The basic production process makes use of completely traditional and artisan methods and techniques, which have remained unchanged over time.
