Scamorza is a fresh table pasta filata cheese with a characteristic pear shape with a neck in the upper part.

The cheese is elastic and has a delicate smell, while It tastes mild and slightly savoury.
As is traditional it is created by breaking up the pasta filata with the hands, moulding it until it acquires its traditional shape.
After the Scamorza shapes have been formed the cheese maker ties them together in a pair and they are briefly dipped in brine.

  • Ingredients: cow's milk, salt and rennet
  • Formats: Scamorza 400 g, Cavallucci 50 g, Uccelletti 30 g, Cornetti 300 g
